The trail is average and starts off at the car park, with level paths though woods follow signs to Lough Curra you enter the open moorland again there are posts to guide your way but it dose get steep in places and boggy and very slippery ( as i found out and landed on the backside )as you get closer to the Lough Curra the path seems to disappear so you have to pick your way around the rocky terrain but it is not that hard. Great views of the surrounding Galtees as you hike up to the lake you return on the same path. Please remember NO DOGS AT ALL.
