This walk begins at Portlaw Heritage Centre, Portlaw, County Waterford. This walk can prove a little difficult for some as it is an uphill walk all the way to your destination. You walk between two local forests (staying off the main road for safety reasons) so be careful crossing the main road between the two. When you reach the mast you take a sharp right onto a more wooded and gravelled path which leads you to the Pinnacle. It is worth the trek as the views from this local landmark of the Comeragh Mountains and the Suir Valley are breath-taking. This trail can be made shorter if you park at the cross over between the two forests.
