Minor climb at the cliff road. Lovely groto on the way and a good chance to see some egrets on the estuary.
A lovely walk which takes in two beaches looking out on Cork Harbour, as well as a lovely country lane
Another dismantled railway line. A very pleasant walk as most of the trail is on a downward slope so its pleasant going.
Great views at all around the head.

Parking is possible for one car on a layby at the starting point of this track, but there is room for quite a few cars along the minor road, closer to the R572 (this would probably add about 20 minutes to the walk). Walk up the minor road until it ends, climb stile...
Compass Hill overlooks Kinsale Town and Bandon River. Normally only takes 30 minutes to walk.
Unused train track, perfectly safe to use.
