Nice alternative from starting up the pilgrims path from the main road. There is limited parking at the start of the route west of Croagh Patrick. Descend down the usual worn path to Campbells for a tasty pint & the obligatory packet of Taytos!
Tough walk but with great immediate and distant scenery. ONLY do this walk with boots and a very good forecast (safety) and fresh visibility (scenery). Enjoy!
